On April 22, at Booth H9V11 in Hall 9 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian), ATOMROBOT’s embodied intelligent humanoid robot Tianbing No.1 delivered a dynamic live demonstration. Its waist flexed downward with agility, the head rotated smoothly, and the arms extended with gentle precision. The supple joints and accurate motion control drew frequent nods from professional visitors. Nearby, a MINI parallel robot workstation operated at a speed nearly impossible to track with the naked eye—recognizing, flipping, and placing tiny electronic components into trays in one seamless flow.
These are the two mass-production-ready products ATOMROBOT brought to this exhibition.
“Many humanoid robots perform beautifully in laboratories, but once on a production line they ‘lose their backbone’—either unable to handle real payloads or unable to bend flexibly,” explained a staff member on site.
“The breakthrough of Tianbing No.1 lies in its waist design. We adopted an original STEWART parallel structure, achieving both rigidity and flexibility. A single arm can carry 12.5 kg with a reach of 686 mm, while the robot can still twist, bend, and maneuver through narrow workstations on automotive final assembly lines. The waist rotation and head movement demonstrated today allow visitors to intuitively experience its joint range and motion smoothness.”
Tianbing No.1’s current capabilities have already been validated in real-world scenarios. Over the past year, it has completed application verification in multiple university laboratories and research environments, including dynamic grasping, path planning, and human-robot collaboration—laying a solid foundation for its next step into industrial production sites.
Its seven-axis anthropomorphic force-controlled robotic arm also features a practical design: the end effector can be switched between a two-finger gripper and a five-finger dexterous hand in under five minutes. For production lines that change product types two to three times per day, this translates into over 50% efficiency improvement.
Its “brain” is powered by a 12-core Arm processor and an NVIDIA GPU, delivering 170 TOPS of computing power. Combined with EtherCAT millisecond-level axis synchronization and a full-body sensor matrix, the robot achieves 360° dynamic perception.
“Simply put, when a worker approaches, it can predict the movement and actively avoid contact,” the staff member added.
Mobility is equally adaptable to existing environments. With a holonomic mobile base that integrates laser SLAM and vision, the robot has a zero turning radius. Warehouse aisles, laboratory corridors, and tight spaces between production lines require no modification for deployment.
The other exhibit, the MINI parallel robot workstation, targets an even more specific pain point. Tasks such as flipping, recognizing, and placing tiny components like electronic parts and precision gears are inefficient for manual labor and prone to quality
fluctuation. ATOMROBOT integrates a Delta robot, industrial camera, and intelligent algorithms into a single workstation. One unit can replace two to three quality inspection workers while maintaining a stable yield rate above 99.5%.
“Typically, customers achieve return on investment within six to eight months,” the staff member noted.
This cost-performance advantage is the result of over a decade of deep expertise in parallel robots. During early cooperation with Tianjin Haihe Dairy, the localization rate of core equipment was only 20%, with critical components dependent on foreign suppliers and high communication costs for customization. Over the next decade, the team collaborated with Tianjin University and Tianjin University of Technology to overcome key challenges in high-speed parallel robot system design, batch manufacturing, and localization of control systems.
“Today, the localization rate of core components in our parallel robots exceeds 90%. Our domestic market share has ranked first for consecutive years, surpassing major foreign competitors,” said the staff member.
To date, ATOMROBOT has sold over 8,000 parallel robots, built more than 300 automated packaging lines, served over 500 enterprises across dairy, pharmaceutical, and new energy industries, and exported products to more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, Italy, and the Netherlands.
On the production line of Tianjin Haihe Dairy, ATOMROBOT’s liquid milk packaging automation line improved the integrated process efficiency of “stand-up pouch forming → edge folding and shaping → marking and labeling” for irregular soft packaging by over 50%, with product qualification rates consistently above 99.5%.
It is precisely this experience, honed on real production lines, that makes ATOMROBOT’s approach to humanoid robotics especially pragmatic.
“We don’t talk about concepts—we talk about deployment,” the staff member said.
“At FAIR plus, we want manufacturing customers to see that humanoid robots are not laboratory showpieces. They can carry heavy loads, navigate narrow spaces, and switch end effectors efficiently—and the return on investment makes clear business sense. We welcome everyone to visit the booth and see it firsthand.”
