To further implement China’s national strategy for developing advanced manufacturing and promoting AI-driven industrial upgrading, while addressing challenges such as the shortage of interdisciplinary talent and the mismatch between industry and education demands, the National Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Embodied Intelligence Industry-Education Integration Consortium was officially established. Recently, the consortium’s inauguration conference was held in Tianjin. Leaders and experts including Hao Zhiqiang, Director of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Zheng Limei, Director of the Mechanical Industry Education Development Center, attended the event alongside representatives from 161 member organizations across 24 provinces nationwide.
 

During the conference, ATOMROBOT and Tianjin Binhai Vocational College signed a school-enterprise cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will carry out in-depth collaboration in talent cultivation, joint technology research, and resource sharing.

The consortium was jointly initiated by EFORT Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Tianjin University of Technology and Education, and Tianjin Binhai Vocational College under the guidance of six supporting organizations. Its members include secondary and higher vocational schools, technical institutes, undergraduate universities, industry associations, and enterprises across the industrial chain. During the meeting, participants reviewed and approved the consortium charter, the list of governing council members, and the annual work plan, followed by an official plaque-awarding ceremony.
 

As a Tianjin-based high-speed robotics company, ATOMROBOT has specialized in the high-speed robotics sector since its establishment in 2013. In the field of embodied intelligence, the company launched the world’s first embodied intelligent humanoid robot utilizing a parallel mechanism, named “Tianbing No.1,” which has already entered commercial sales. Looking toward the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the company plans to advance the R&D and industrialization of intelligent cleaning robots, space robots, and fully force-controlled humanoid robotic arms.
 

This signing marks a key step for ATOMROBOT in deepening collaboration among industry, academia, research, and application sectors while promoting talent development for the robotics industry. Moving forward, the company will continue leveraging Tianjin’s advanced manufacturing advantages and work together with universities and industrial chain partners to build an industrial ecosystem featuring positive interaction between talent cultivation and technological innovation, contributing to the high-quality development of China’s advanced manufacturing industry.
