Atomrobot Selected as One of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area’s First “AI + Manufacturing” Model Enterprises
On December 9, the “Rongju TEDA · Intelligence Unlocked” — Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) AI + Manufacturing themed event was held in Beijing. The event was guided by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, hosted by the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area Administrative Committee, and organized by the China Industrial Internet Research Institute.

Focusing on the achievements of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and the new landscape for the “15th Five-Year Plan,” the event brought together representatives from government, industry, academia, research, and application sectors. Discussions centered on how artificial intelligence can empower key industries such as automotive, equipment manufacturing, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, jointly mapping out a new blueprint for intelligent industrial upgrading across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.
During the event, TEDA announced its first list of “AI + Manufacturing” Model Enterprises, and Atomrobot was successfully selected based on its strong capabilities in real-world industrial deployment and its value in driving cross-industry collaboration. The recognition not only affirms Atomrobot’s technological strength but also signifies its future role as a “connector” and “catalyst” within the region’s smart manufacturing ecosystem.
In recent years, TEDA has prioritized “digital-intelligent transformation,” systematically advancing intelligent manufacturing. The region has cultivated 77+ municipal-level smart factories and has been recognized among the Top 10 National Digital Transformation Cases. Against this backdrop, the selection emphasized enterprises’ ability to deploy AI technologies in real industrial scenarios and their capacity for collaborative empowerment.
Atomrobot’s large-scale applications across automotive assembly, food, personal care, and pharmaceutical packaging have already helped over 1,000 large manufacturing companies significantly enhance operational efficiency. Meanwhile, the company’s R&D and rapid iteration of its embodied intelligent humanoid robot—Tianbing One highlights its forward-looking innovation capabilities.

During the roundtable discussion themed “Opportunities for High-Growth Enterprises in the Era of AI,” Atomrobot joined representatives from Siten Helix, Langyu Robotics, CEIC Cloud Chain, and Yunsheng Intelligence. Conversations explored how AI empowers the real economy and how government–enterprise collaboration mechanisms can be optimized. Drawing from its own experience, Atomrobot shared insights on driving innovation and enhancing industrial collaboration—highly aligned with TEDA’s strategic direction of creating a closed-loop ecosystem of “computing power — real-world scenarios — industry.”
The region’s development approach is shifting from isolated project introduction to forming interconnected and mutually reinforcing enterprise clusters. Atomrobot’s trajectory is a vivid example of this evolution.
Notably, Atomrobot’s dual development path in industrial robots and humanoid robots aligns closely with TEDA’s smart manufacturing needs across its core industries, including automotive, electronics, and biopharmaceuticals. This strategic alignment reflects a more mature model of government–enterprise interaction: government creates platforms and sets benchmarks to attract resources, while enterprises leverage regional scenarios and clustering advantages to accelerate iteration and market expansion, ultimately feeding back into and strengthening the industrial ecosystem.
Being selected as one of TEDA’s first model enterprises marks the beginning of a deeper phase of collaboration between Atomrobot and TEDA in the realm of AI + Manufacturing. Looking ahead, Atomrobot views this recognition as both an opportunity and a responsibility. The company will continue strengthening its technological roadmap in industrial automation and intelligent robotics, actively integrate into TEDA’s systemic development—from planning to scenario cultivation—and contribute practical solutions and ecosystem momentum to the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing sector across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.
