From September 16 to 19, the 2026 Tianjin International Machine Tool Show was held at Phase II of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin). As an influential machine tool and automation exhibition in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the event focused on collaboration across the equipment manufacturing industry chain and served key industries in northern China, including aerospace, automotive components, and new energy equipment. It provided an industrial platform for manufacturers to exchange ideas and explore automation upgrades.

ATOMROBOT participated in the exhibition with a range of high-speed industrial robots, delivering comprehensive automation solutions for machine tool applications and various discrete manufacturing scenarios.

1. Addressing Industry Challenges to Enable Flexible Upgrades for Machine Tool Production Lines

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is one of China’s major advanced equipment manufacturing clusters, with strong concentrations of aerospace, construction machinery, automotive components, and new energy industries. A large number of machining and manufacturing companies are facing growing demands for flexible production line upgrades, reduced reliance on manual labor, and improved production safety.

As the core equipment of the manufacturing industry, machine tools rely heavily on industrial robots to undertake auxiliary processes such as loading and unloading, material transfer, assembly, and sorting. The coordinated operation of robots and machine tools has therefore become an important direction for the flexible transformation and upgrading of discrete manufacturing production lines.

Building on its extensive expertise in Delta robot technologies, ATOMROBOT continues to expand its product portfolio, establishing a comprehensive robot portfolio covering Delta robots, SCARA robots, and collaborative robots. At the same time, the company is developing a range of embodied intelligent products that integrate large models, machine vision, and force-control technologies to provide software solutions for task understanding and autonomous planning, enabling the coordinated development of robotic hardware and intelligent software.

ATOMROBOT has also developed its own controllers and vision-based process solutions, serving a wide range of downstream industries including new energy, 3C electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food.

At this exhibition, ATOMROBOT drew on real-world operating conditions encountered by machine tool manufacturers in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and showcased three robot products that have been validated through large-scale commercial projects. Targeting three typical application scenarios—heavy-duty operations, continuous mass production, and sorting of small components—the company demonstrated the integrated deployment capabilities of domestically developed robot hardware and process solutions.

2. Supporting Diverse Applications Across Discrete Manufacturing Scenarios

ATOMROBOT’s robot series share a self-developed motion control system and vision-based process platform. Each product is designed with differentiated capabilities for specific production scenarios, enabling rapid integration and adaptation to machine tools while meeting the diverse automation needs of small, medium-sized, and large manufacturers.

Heavy-Duty Collaborative Robots

Designed to combine heavy-duty operations with human-robot collaboration, the heavy-duty collaborative robot helps optimize the productivity and return on investment of demanding industrial processes. The robot features high payload capacity and is equipped with a self-developed force-control safety module to support collaborative operations between humans and robots.

With convenient deployment and no need for complex physical safety fencing, the robot can be adapted to a wide range of general industrial applications, including heavy-part handling, machine tending, heavy-duty assembly, and palletizing.

In key northern industries such as construction machinery and equipment component machining, this robot helps maintain heavy-duty production capabilities while improving on-site operational safety. It can also reduce infrastructure investment for production lines and support manufacturers in advancing automation across individual processes.

High-Speed SCARA Robots

ATOMROBOT’s high-speed SCARA robots are built on the company’s high-speed motion control technology developed from its Delta robot technology platform. Featuring high speed, high repeatability, and a compact structure, the robots are designed to support continuous long-duration operation on production lines.

They are widely used in assembly, screwdriving, transfer, and packaging processes across industries such as 3C electronics, lithium batteries, photovoltaics, and pharmaceuticals. By increasing production takt rates and ensuring consistency in high-volume manufacturing, the robots facilitate the adoption of domestically developed robotic solutions in critical processes across discrete manufacturing.

MINI Delta Robot

The MINI Delta robot provides a lightweight and integrated automation solution. Equipped with a self-developed controller and vision-based process software, it enables seamless integration of hardware and software to perform identification, sorting, and tray placement of randomly oriented small components.

The product is widely applicable to tray loading of small components and sorting of scattered materials in pharmaceuticals, electronic components, small lithium-battery components, and food processing.

By addressing challenges such as limited workstation space and the low efficiency of manual handling of small components, the MINI Delta robot enables flexible sorting within compact workspaces and enhances end-of-line material handling capabilities for precision manufacturing.

3. Deepening Industrial Ecosystem Collaboration and Expanding Application Boundaries

The automation transformation of China’s discrete manufacturing sector is no longer limited to the procurement of individual robot hardware. Market demand for integrated solutions combining robot hardware, controllers, and vision-based process technologies continues to grow.

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is home to a large number of machine tool manufacturers, component machining companies, and system integrators, providing extensive opportunities for domestically developed robots to be tested in real-world scenarios and brought to commercial application.

During the exhibition, ATOMROBOT engaged with customers across the industrial chain and system integration partners on topics including automation for machine tool applications, flexible production line upgrades, and the implementation of domestically developed robots in real-world projects.

Through these exchanges, ATOMROBOT gained further insight into the actual operating requirements of manufacturers and will continue to refine its hardware products, process solutions, and embodied-intelligence software capabilities.

Building on its proprietary core technologies, ATOMROBOT will continue to strengthen its multi-category robot portfolio and further develop integrated capabilities spanning motion control systems, vision-based process technologies, and embodied-intelligence software.

The company will continue to explore application opportunities in machine tool automation and discrete manufacturing, delivering reliable domestically developed robotic solutions to support the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry.
