On September 22–23, the 2026 China Private Enterprise Investment and Financing Fair was held in Tianjin. Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, this year’s event was themed “Scenario Innovation, Synergy between Technology and Finance — Promoting High-Quality Development of the Private Economy.”

The event brought together more than 800 representatives from national ministries and commissions, local governments, Fortune 500 private enterprises, technology companies, financial institutions, and investment organizations.

As part of the event’s series of special sessions, ATOMROBOT participated in both the “Scenario Innovation, Synergy between Technology and Finance” Forum and the Special Forum on Industry-Finance Collaboration in Robotics.

The two sessions pointed to the same conclusion: industrial technologies need to reach real-world applications, while embodied intelligence needs a solid industrial foundation to move forward.

1. Beyond Financing, Real-World Application Scenarios Matter More

This year’s China Private Enterprise Investment and Financing Fair placed “scenario innovation” at the very beginning of its theme, sending a clear signal: beyond financing, access to real-world application scenarios is becoming one of the most valuable resources for private technology companies.

Funding can be raised, but opportunities to enter real production environments require long-term accumulation. They are built on trust, time, and repeated validation of reliable performance in actual industrial settings.

The “Invest First, Take Equity Later” policy unveiled at the main event, together with the launch of a scenario innovation service platform, aims to open up the pathway from laboratories to production lines.

Once this pathway is opened, companies capable of successfully taking on real-world application scenarios will be better positioned for the next stage of growth.

2. The Industrialization of Embodied Intelligence Begins on the Factory Floor

At the “Scenario Innovation, Synergy between Technology and Finance” Forum, Song Tao, CEO of ATOMROBOT, delivered a speech drawing on the company’s more than a decade of experience in high-speed industrial robotics and shared his views on the industrialization of embodied intelligence.

His perspective is consistent with comments he has previously made at events such as the Zhongguancun Forum, according to public reports. Song Tao has noted that embodied intelligence is currently at a critical stage of transition from a “weak productivity phase” toward a “strong productivity phase,” with the next one to two years expected to provide an important window for the accelerated development of practical robots.

He has also stated that while bringing embodied intelligence into homes may be “the ultimate dream of humanity,” industrial applications represent the biggest opportunity in the current wave of development.

Song Tao, CEO of ATOMROBOT

This view points to a development path that aligns closely with ATOMROBOT’s own experience: only with a solid industrial foundation deeply rooted in production lines can embodied intelligence continue to evolve and move toward practical applications.

ATOMROBOT has been deeply engaged in the high-speed industrial robotics sector, with its products widely deployed in sorting and palletizing applications across industries including food, personal care and household chemicals, automotive components, and new energy. The company has also achieved independent development of its core components.

Its Delta robot market share among domestic brands has ranked first for six consecutive years since 2020. In 2023, ATOMROBOT further surpassed foreign brands to become the overall market leader across all brands.

At the Special Forum on Industry-Finance Collaboration in Robotics, the ATOMROBOT team echoed the same perspective:

“Industrial technologies can move into real-world applications, paving the way for embodied intelligence to move forward.”

The “move into real-world applications” part is supported by the industrial foundation accumulated through 13 years of large-scale deployment of ATOMROBOT’s industrial robots—from motion control and AI-based vision recognition algorithms to integrated drive-control systems, core components, and robot structural design, the company continues to pursue independent control and original innovation.

The “move forward” part means extending embodied intelligence capabilities on top of this industrial foundation.

By building embodied intelligence on a proven industrial foundation, ATOMROBOT aims to make its real-world deployment more solid and practical.

The recurrence of the same judgment across different forums reflects a technology philosophy shared throughout the company.

3. More Than 1,000 Production Lines: Enabling Domestic Robot Substitution

As a company focused on integrated AI + robotics hardware and software, ATOMROBOT has established a product portfolio spanning four major categories: Delta robots, high-speed SCARA robots, heavy-duty collaborative robots, and embodied intelligent robots.

The company focuses on core applications including high-speed sorting, precision assembly, and accurate material handling, serving industries such as food and beverage, personal care and household chemicals, pharmaceuticals, new energy, 3C electronics, and automotive manufacturing.

These products are being deployed on real production lines across industries.

From food and beverage companies such as Yili and Mengniu, to new energy and 3C electronics companies such as CATL, BYD, and Luxshare Precision, and to manufacturing companies including Panasonic and Great Wall Motor, ATOMROBOT’s customers span a wide range of industries.

This broad customer base demonstrates the reusability of ATOMROBOT’s industrial foundation across different application scenarios.

The scale of this real-world deployment can be seen in a series of figures: cumulative shipments of more than 10,000 units, services provided to more than 1,000 large-scale customers, and a business network covering more than 30 countries and regions worldwide. The company has also achieved independent development of its core components and ranks first in overall Delta robot market share.

In a high-speed robotics sector historically dominated by foreign brands, ATOMROBOT has spent more than a decade turning “domestic substitution” into tangible market share and embedding domestically developed robots into real production lines, where they operate continuously, reliably, and stably.

At Tianjin Haihe Dairy’s production facility, ATOMROBOT high-speed Delta robots operate at high speed on an automated liquid milk packaging line.

Founded in 1957, the time-honored dairy company under Tianjin Food Group had previously been facing challenges including rising labor costs and difficulties recruiting workers for repetitive positions.

After domestic robots took over the relevant processes, packaging efficiency on the production line improved significantly. The project subsequently won the First Prize of the 2025 Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award.

For customers, the value delivered by ATOMROBOT is not simply a collection of robotic machines, but more efficient and stable production capacity.

4. From Import Substitution to Deeper Scenario-Based Applications

“Scenario innovation” and “synergy between technology and finance”—the key signals emerging from this year’s event point to a broader transformation.

China’s robotics industry is moving from “import substitution” toward “deep engagement with real-world application scenarios.”

The competition is no longer simply about who can offer lower prices. It is increasingly about who can go deeper into real production lines and transform technology into reusable production expertise.

That is the value of a solid industrial foundation—and the confidence behind ATOMROBOT’s ability to move industrial technologies into real-world applications.

ATOMROBOT has already incorporated its next stage of development into its public roadmap. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the company will focus on three major directions: intelligent cleaning robots, space robots, and full-force-control humanoid arms, while progressively bringing embodied intelligent robots into practical product lines.

Embodied intelligence does not lack imagination. What it needs is a solid industrial foundation capable of supporting its development and deployment.

This is also the deeper significance of placing “scenarios” at the center of this year’s China Private Enterprise Investment and Financing Fair: when technology can reach real-world applications, intelligence can move forward.

For robotics companies, understanding the true value of application scenarios may be the key to completing the final mile from the laboratory to the production line.
